Lem has been co-owner of QPS from its inception in 1996 through 2013, and became 100% owner of QPS in 2014.
Lem received his M.B.A. from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where his study emphasis was accounting and finance. Since receiving his C.P.A. from the State of Colorado in 1978, Lem has worked in public accounting with both national and local firms, and for 14 years served as Corporate Controller in the Distribution, Management Services and Finance industries.
Almost a native, Lem has lived in Colorado since 1962.
Debbie is the President of QPS, and oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm, including Client Services and Sales Group Support/Management. Debbie brings 17+ years of experience working in the Third Party Administration environment. She attended the Colorado Institute of Art, pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, but after leaving school, found herself with a keen interest in banking and finance, and held jobs in banking, estate planning, retirement planning and an estate planning law firm before coming to QPS in August, 2001. Debbie’s main focus at QPS is the overall management of the practices, procedures and staff, as well as the continued growth of the firm.
Debbie is a native Coloradan, growing up in Aurora, and now lives in Lakewood with her husband and their three Boston Terriers. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her two grown daughters, trips to Disneyland, drawing, reading, and hiking in the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
Amy has been in the financial services industry since 2000. Before joining QPS in November of 2015, she worked at a large financial company specializing in 401(k) plan compliance and document services. Since that time, Amy has excelled in her role as Client Relationship Manager, attending enrollment meetings and Annual Plan reviews, and providing Client Service and Sales Team support. She has now transitioned from a Sales Team support role to a Plan Sales Consultant role, and is enjoying assisting clients and advisors in designing and implementing a qualified plan that meets their needs and goals.
After growing up in Northwest Indiana, Amy lived in downtown Chicago and Southern California. She became a Colorado resident in 2000 and lives in Centennial, Colorado with her husband, children and 3 dogs. She loves traveling to warm, sunny beaches, cooking for her family, reading and cheering on her kids at their many sporting events.
Natalie has been in the retirement plan industry since 2010. She works closely with Plan Sponsors, fund companies and financial advisors to quickly and efficiently to guide them through the implementation process, whether a new Plan is being established, or we are taking over an existing Plan. Natalie has been with QPS since October of 2010, and has 30+ years of customer/client relations experience.
In her spare time, Natalie enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the outdoors. She also enjoys reading and volunteering with her church and local food pantry.
Carole attended Ball State University, completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. After teaching a few years and then staying home to raise triplet toddlers, she returned to work in the Mortgage Banking Industry.
She has worked in Worker Compensation Contracts, as a stand-up comedienne, mortgage loan processor and in the private sector with Non-Profits. Prior to joining the QPS Team, she worked for 15 years with a Mortgage & Home Builder company managing Client Services & Customer Service.
Carole comes with a strong background in Quality Assurance and Customer Service and currently works with our Client Services and Sales Support teams.
On her days off, Carole can be found in Fort Collins with her daughters, hosting dinner parties, working baseball tournaments, rooting for CSU RAM Football with her husband of 29 years or planning her next travel adventure out of the country.
Ali has been in the retirement plan industry since February, 2015, when she started with QPS. She was, at first, responsible for all phases of accounts receivable including receipt of payments, invoicing and collections, but has now taken on other roles including Sales and Marketing Support, as well as other day-to-day office/staff support tasks. After studying History and Education at Metropolitan State University of Denver for 4 years, Ali decided to change paths and started at QPS. She is eager to continue learning, and hopes to have a long career in the retirement industry. Ali grew up and still lives in Lakewood. When not working, she enjoys all things Disney, attending Colorado Mammoth games, movies, and paddle boarding with friends.
Luanne has been in the retirement plan industry since 1981, after first receiving her nursing degree from Choffin School of Nursing, in Youngstown, Ohio. As an Administrator, Luanne handles all phases of retirement plan administration for our clients, including the required annual participant reporting, compliance testing, preparation of DOL and IRS filings each year, as well as retirement plan design and client relations. She has particular expertise in the field of 401(k) and 403(b) Plans. Luanne has been with QPS since April of 2008.
Luanne moved to Colorado, from Ohio, in September of 1981, and has resided in Littleton, Colorado since 1996. She enjoys vacationing with her daughter, when time permits, and spends most of her spare time with her two dogs. She also enjoys hiking, biking and horseback riding.
Gary has been in the retirement plan industry since 1984 with a break from 1992 to 2001, during which time he assisted individuals with financial planning, and gained nine years of experience with insurance and investment products. Gary performs annual plan valuations for our clients who have 401(k) and other Defined Contribution plans, and also works closely with our outside actuary for our clients who have Defined Benefit and Cash Balance plans. Gary is responsible for all phases of retirement plan administration and has extensive experience with all types of tax-qualified retirement plans. Gary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a finance major and a Paralegal Certificate in Employee Benefits. He joined QPS in August of 2001.
Gary has lived in the Denver area since 1984 and currently resides in Aurora, Colorado with his wife. He has two grown children. In his time off, he enjoys playing golf and listening to classic Rock music.
Jackie started with QPS in 2013, but has been in the retirement plan industry since 2001. As an Administrator, Jackie is responsible for all phases of retirement plan administration, including New Comparability calculations, asset reconciliation, compliance testing and preparation of DOL and IRS form filings. She has particular expertise in Defined Benefit and Cash Balance plan.
Jackie graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Computer Information Systems. She also received certification from Stephens College in Project Management.
Jackie most recently worked for McGladrey in Chicago, Illinois, but relocated back to Aurora, Colorado with her family in 2013, where she lives with her husband and son.
Jim has been in the retirement plan industry since 1999. After graduating from Moorhead State University with a degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice, Jim spent time as a corrections officer and worked with troubled teenagers in Los Angeles. Realizing he wanted to work in the financial services industry he began working at an insurance agency and soon after with a Third Party Adminstration Firm. He completes the year end administration for clients including the calculation of employer contributions, reconciliation of contributions, IRS required testing and preparation of DOL and IRS filings. Jim has also spent time as a sales consultant, written test questions for the National Institute of Pension Administrators APA designation and was part of the TPA advisory council to Prudential. He has been with QPS since January of 2015.
Jim relocated with his family to Colorado from California in December of 2005. When not working Jim can be found working out, rock, ice or mountain climbing, hiking, snowboarding, bowling, playing golf, reading, volunteering or just spending time with family and friends.
Tricia graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences. After college, she and her husband moved from Connecticut to Colorado. Tricia has been in the retirement plan industry since 1991, and has worked at large financial companies specializing in document, compliance, recordkeeping, and IRS reporting services. She has completed Six Sigma Training and has been involved in company transitions and process improvement projects. As an Administrator with QPS since January of 2015, Tricia is responsible for all phases of retirement plan administration.
Tricia lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with her husband, four children, and golden retriever dog. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and loves to hike, bike, and workout with family and friends.
Rachael is new to the retirement plan industry but comes from a financial background with three years of experience in banking and customer service. Rachael works closely with Plan Sponsors, fund companies, financial advisors and brokerage firms to quickly and efficiently handle 401(k) plan participant distribution needs.
On her days off, Rachael can be found spending time with her two little girls who keep her pretty busy. She also enjoys learning how to work on the family cars with her mechanic husband.
